Winner of $7,000 Feel Better Giveaway selected!

Rebound and Rebound Vitality are thrilled to announce that Giani Bigelow, a firefighter and EMT from Graham Fire & Rescue in Washington state, was chosen by random drawing as the winner of our Feel Better Giveaway, which included prizes totaling $7,000.

Giani’s winning entry means his department will receive:

Last week, we had the help of Annie VandenKooy, Director of Graham Fire’s Human Resources Department, who helped gather Giani and Chief Pat Dale, so that we could surprise them with the news of winning the contest in the video recording above.

Our Safe Movement Assessment is designed to help first responders identify areas of risk in their everyday activities, and then our training program offers remediation to improve results. This test has been used successfully by thousands of elite athletes to help them move more safely and more effectively. Vitality is now bringing this industry-leading technology and practice to public safety workers, who unfortunately, suffer higher than average injuries because of the demands of their physically challenging and often dangerous jobs.

The muscle recovery gear from our partner Hyperice is also cutting-edge technology that offers relief to overworked muscles in a fraction of the time compared with regular rest. While most elite athletes take advantage of the rejuvenating powers of muscle recovery, first responders generally haven’t been exposed to these principles. We’re confident that muscle recovery will allow our valued public safety workers to not only feel better, but improve their performance after a hard shift.

Rebound’s core services have been devoted to concierge injury recovery for public safety workers for years. With Vitality, our innovative wellness division, we are vowing to make a difference on the front side of the equation, by helping our members live better lives through safe movement, muscle recovery, nutrition, reducing the risk of health concerns and assistance with behavioral health.

Our contest also celebrated the creation of Rebound Vitality Recovery Zones, designed in partnership with Hyperice, to give first responders relief for all major muscle groups.

Thanks to everyone who entered our contest! Remember: Even if you didn’t win this giveaway, you can register on our website and are eligible for a discount on Hyperice gear. You’ll also be the first to hear about our new education and training series.

Congrats Giani and Graham Fire & Rescue!
